Despite the title of this post, there isn’t a single egg on today’s card, there isn’t any cheery colors either. All the same, it is my take on the current FUSION challenge. I got inspire by the raffia cord and the doily on the inspiration photo to create this wedding card.

Contrairement à ce que pourrait laisser présager le titre de cet article, il n’y a pas un seul œuf sur la carte que je vous présente aujourd’hui, et il n’y a pas de couleurs vives non plus. Et pourtant, c’est bien ma participation au challenge FUSION en cours.  J’ai repris le sketch et me suis inspirée de de la photo dont j’ai repris la ficelle de raphia et le napperon pour créer cette carte de félicitation pour un mariage.

Here is my take on this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch challenge. As soon as I saw the sketch, I knew I wanted something that looks like a butterfly whithout being a butterfly. I decided to go with a wedding card featuring a big bow. As simple as my card may look, it took me more than 2 hours to achieve something I was pleased with. I spent a long time rummaging through my papers and ribbons to pick those that fit what was on my mind. And after that, I still had to decide the kind of bow.

Voici ma participation au challenge CAS(E) This Sketch de cette semaine. Dès que j’ai vu le sketch, je savais que je voulais trouver quelque chose qui évoque un papillon mais qui ne soit pas un papillon .  J’ai donc opté pour une carte de félicitation pour un mariage avec un gros nœud de satin. Aussi simple que cette carte puisse paraître, il m’a pourtant fallu plus de 2 heures pour la réaliser. J’ai passé un bon moment à farfouiller dans mes papiers et mes rubans  avant d’arriver à me  décider.  Et il m’a fallut encore un peu de temps pour choisir le type de nœud.
