Hello!

I come today with another non traditional colors Christmas carte. I created a little 3D and childish winter scene using the color palette Susie has chosen for this week’s Color Throwdown challenge. A stenciled aqua sky, lavender trees and a snowman that I dressed up with pink scarf and hat. To finish off, I added a little shine with 2 tiny bits of glittery pink Washi tape.

Pour aujourd’hui,  voici une nouvelle carte de Noël aux couleurs non traditionnelles. J’ai crée un petit paysage hivernal en 3D et plutôt naïf en utilisant les couleurs choisies par Susie pour le challenge Color Throwdown de cette semaine. Un ciel turquoise pâle réalisé avec un pochoir (fait maison), deux sapins mauves et un petit bonhomme de neige que j’ai habillé avec un bonnet et une écharpe roses. Pour terminer et apporter un peu de brillance, j’ai ajouté deux petits bout de masking-tape rose pailleté.

CAS Colours & Sketches #441 – Sketch

Hello!

Another « new-to-me » challenge blog today, it’s the very first time I’m joining in the fun at CAS Colours & Sketches. The current challenge is a sketch and it inspired me a little 3D Christmas scene. I worked on 3 different layers to mimic the V shape of the sketch and stacked them with dimensional foam. I must confess that layering and adhering properly all the elements has been quite a tricky job but I’m rather happy with the result. 

C’est encore une première pour moi aujourd’hui puisque je viens de découvrir un blog de challenge que je ne connaissais pas : CAS Colours & Sketches. Le challenge en cours est un sketch et il m’a inspiré cette petite scène de Noël montée en 3D. J’ai utilisé 3 niveaux pour représenter la forme en V du sketch et je les ai superposés en intercalant de la mousse 3D. Je dois avouer que le montage de l’ensemble a été un peu délicat, mais au final, je suis plutôt contente du rendu.
