Welcome to CAS Colours & Sketches, it’s time for a our  November Colour challenge and Nancy has come with a lovely Christmas color scheme for you to play with. It provides me with a great opportunity to showcase some of the lovely products of the new Simply Graphic release. (used products list under the photos)

Welcome to CAS Colours & Sketches, it’s time for a our  september sketch challenge and Rachel has come with a great clean one for you to play with.  I kept my card so simple that there isn’t much to say about it except that I stamped the sentiment at the wrong place 😦 . I hope Rachel will forgive me.

CAS Colours & Sketches #520 – Colours

Welcome to CAS Colours & Sketches, it’s time for a our first september challenge and Rachel has a color palette for you to play with. I must confess I was a bit puzzled by this color combination that is really challenging for me. Then the dark blue and yellow made me think of some Van Gogh paintings and there was the solution. Some watercolor, a sunflower diecut and I was done.

Il est temps de vous présenter le nouveau challenge CAS Colours & Sketches.  Pour débuter ce mois de septembre Rachel vous propose un combo original. Je dois bien avouer que cette combinaison de couleurs a été un vrai défi pour moi. Et puis, le bleu intense et le jaune m’ont fait penser à Van Gogh! Eureka, j’avais la solution à mon problème, de l’aquarelle, une matrice de coupe tournesol (de la nouvelle collection d’automne de Simply Graphic qui sera bientôt en boutique) et le tour est joué.

CAS Colours & Sketches #519 – Double

Welcome to CAS Colours & Sketches, it’s time for a new  challenge and since it’s the fifth Tuesday of August we have a double challenge for you, that means you’ll have to play with both a color palette and a sketch. This inspired me a super simple card, a watercolor background, some dried flowers and that’s it.

Il est temps de vous présenter le nouveau challenge CAS Colours & Sketches.  Nous sommes le 5ème mardi de ce mois d’août, nous vous proposons donc un double challenge ce qui signifie que vous allez devoir jouer avec un combo ET un sketch. Pour ma part, cela m’a inspiré une carte minimaliste avec un fond à l’aquarelle, quelques fleurs séchées et rien de plus.

CAS Colours & Sketches #518 – Sketch

Welcome to CAS Colours & Sketches, it’s time for a new  challenge and Sue has a super CAS sketch for you to create with.I chose to rotate the sketch into a landscape mode and used the remain of a watercolor background on which I just drew an imaginary city line using a black felt pen. 

Il est temps de vous présenter le nouveau challenge CAS Colours & Sketches.  Sue vous propose de jouer avec un sketch très épuré où tout doit tenir dans un rectangle. J’ai choisi de l’interpréter en format paysage en recyclant un reste de fond à l’aquarelle sur lequel j’ai juste dessiné une ville imaginaire au feutre noir façon « city line ».

Welcome to CAS Colours & Sketches, it’s time for a new  challenge and Jeanne has a lovely summery color palette  for you to create with. It provided me with a great opportunity to showcase this whale stamp I love so much. It is one of my favorite of the new summer release of Simply Graphic. The waves are made with the small iner parts of a die called « Vue sur… »

Welcome to  CAS Colours & Sketches, it’s time for a new month of challenges and as usual we’re starting with a color challenge. Shannon is this month’s hostess and she has a super sweet color palette for you to play with. As soon as I saw it, I knew I will use this patterned paper from Simply Graphic, (from the « Giverny » paper pack). It has all of the three required colors and is just perfect for a baby card.

Il m’a tout de suite fait penser à ce papier de la collection Giverny de Simply Graphic, qui regroupe les trois couleurs demandées. Papier, tout en tendresse qui m’a inspiré une carte de naissance.

Welcome to  CAS Colours & Sketches, it’s time for a new challenge. It’s the fifth Tuesday of the month, which means it’s time for one of our Timeless Tuesday Double challenges. You’ll have to play with both a color combination and a sketch. I confess this trio of bright colors really gave me hard time. Fortunately enough, watercolor came to my help and I manage to come up with a card that is still CAS.

Le combo m’a vraiment donné du fil à retordre : turquoise, jaune et orange, pfff pas du tout évident pour moi … heureusement que l’aquarelle existe pour me sauver la mise. Voici ce que cela donne :
