Color Throwdown #390

Bonjour,

Pour son 390eme Challenge, The Color Throwdown nous a concocté un combo plutôt inhabituel mais bien sympa ! Les couleurs sont très présentes. Aussi, ai-je choisi de faire une carte très clean et toute simple. Pour ajouter un peu de relief, j’ai découpé 4 fois le mot « Bisous » et je les ai collés les uns sur les autres …Voici donc ma participation au challenge.

I was so thrilled by the new color challenge at Color Throwdown. The colors are stunningly bright and bold and there’s no need to add much . So I kept my card rather simple with just the dimensional sentiment to add a little pop. I die cut the word « Bisous » (which means « Kisses ») 4 times from white paper and glued them on one other.

Just Us Girls Challenge #340

Pour son Challenge N° 340 Just Us Girls nous propose de nous inspirer d’une photo. J’en ai retenu les couleurs douces et la transparence de la cruche

It’s Photo Inspiration Week at Just Us Girls. I got inspired by the cool soft colors and by the transparency of the jug.

Carte JUGS340 - DSCN4188 J’ai réalisé cette grosse fleur avec du papier calque que j’ai encré à l »éponge, en rose, orange, jaune et turquoise. Puis, avec différents dies,(provenant de plusieurs sets de marques différentes) j’ai découpé les composants … Des glue dots, une demi-perle et voilà …

The flower is home made. I sponge inked some vellum (in pink, orange, yellow and teal) . Then I die cut the 5 layers of the flower using various dies and assembled them with glue dots. The washi tape background is for the striped towel .
