Here is my take on the current FUSION  challenge. I created this wedding card by pairing the sketch with various elements from the inspiration photo. I got inspired by the color scheme, the leafy/flowery branches, the window (the vellum square in my card), the brush (the sisal twine in my card).

Pour cette carte de mariage, j’ai utilisé le sketch et me suis inspirée de divers détails de la photo : les couleurs, les branches fleuries du bouquet, la fenêtre (symbolisée par le carré de calque) et la brosse (représentée par la ficelle de sisal)

Here we are, the CASE(E) This Sketch adventure has come to an end, and this is their final challenge. 😦 No need to say that I will miss their sketches very much. Their very last sketch inspired me this masculine birthday card.

Hello!

Here is my take on the color palette Lori has chosen for this week’s Color Throwdown challenge. The patterned paper I used for the last Freshly Made Sketches challenge was still sitting on my desk and it occurred to me that it had two of the required colors. A good start to create a quick to do carte. I only had to think of a lay-out, add a grey ribbon, a sentiment and I was done.

Voici mon interprétation du combo proposé par Lori pour le challenge Color Throwdown de cette semaine.  Une chute du  papier imprimé que j’avais utilisé pour le dernier challenge Freshly Made Sketches était encore sur ma table de travail et j’ai réalisé qu’il présentait deux des couleurs demandées. Je tenais là un bon point de départ pour une carte rapide à faire. Il ne me restait plus qu’à imaginer un sketch, ajouter un sentiment, un ruban gris et le tour était joué.

CASology 382 – UNITE

Hello!

I already was a CAS addict and now, I’m also a CASology addict. Here is my take on this fortnight’s challenge with the cue word : Unite. It made me think of  friendship. The sentiment  « Les liens du coeur sont plus forts que tout » means « Heart’s bonds are stronger than anything else. »

Et voilà, je suis devenue accro aux challenges de CASology.  Voici ma participation à celui de cette quinzaine avec le mot clé « Union ». Cela m’a fait pensé à l’amitié et ce tampon texte me semble parfaitement coller au thème.

Hello!

Today’s card uses the color palette Lisa has chosen for this week’s Color Throwdown challenge. I felt like playing with my watercolors. I created a plum background by mixing Crimson red and Prussian blue. Then, I simply stamped some sketchy flowers in black over the watercolor splotches

La carte du jour répond au combo proposé par Lisa pour le challenge Color Throwdown de cette semaine.  J’ai eu envie de sortir mes godets d’aquarelle. J’ai donc crée un fond prune en mélangeant du rouge cramoisi et du bleu de Prusse. Puis, j’ai tout simplement tamponné des fleurs stylisées en noir sur les tâches d’aquarelle.

Hi there,

It’s been quite a while since I last played along with FUSION Card Challenge and I’m glad to join in for the current challenge (ending in few hours). I rotated the sketch and got some inspiration from various elements on the photo : the color scheme, the gingham pattern, the black chalkboard and the pop of red. To mimic the chalkboard, I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a black tag. « Toi & Moi » means « You and Me »

Cela fait un sacré bout de temps que je n’ai pas participé à un challenge de FUSION et je suis ravie de pouvoir enfin le faire aujourd’hui (le challenge en cours se termine dans quelques heures). J’ai fait pivoter le sketch et me suis inspirée de nombreux détails de la photo proposée : le combo, le motif vichy, le tableau noir et pour finir, la touche de rouge  Pour évoquer le tableau noir , j’ai embossé à chaud le sentiment sur une étiquette noire.

Hello!

Here is my take on this week’s Color Throwdown challenge.  Susie has chosen a cheerful color palette that I used to create the background of my card. I used watercolor pencils and a stencil to draw some triangles and then,  simply brushed some water over them. To finish off, I added colored ink splotches.

Voici ma participation au challenge Color Throwdown de cette semaine.  Susie nous propose un combo de couleurs vives que j’ai utilisé pour faire le fond de ma carte. J’ai utilisé un pochoir et des crayons aquarellables pour dessiner des triangles. Puis,  j’ai simplement passé un pinceau mouillé par dessus et ajouté quelques projections d’encres colorées.

It’s the very first time I’m playing with CASology, and it won’t be the last, for sure! I’m a CAS addict and their challenges are always so inspiring. The current challenge is about « Memories »and I assumed that « Thinking of you Always » could meet the purpose.

C’est ma toute première participation à un challenge de CASology … et ce ne sera certainement pas .la dernière. Leurs défis sont tellement inspirants pour la « cleaneuse » que je suis. Le challenge en cours porte sur le mot clé « Souvenirs » et je suis partie du principe que « Je pense à toi, toujours » pouvait faire l’affaire.

Hello!

I’m so glad to be able to join in some of my favorite challenges again. Here is the card that was inspired by the color palette Amy has chosen for this week’s Color Throwdown challenge. I assumed that copper was a shade of rust, and, though the flower may seem gold on the photo, I actuallty die-cut it out of some copper foil.

Je suis heureuse de pouvoir à nouveau participer à certains de mes challenges favoris. Voici la carte que m’ a inspirée le combo proposé par Amy pour le  challenge Color Throwdown de cette semaine.  Je suis partie du principe que le cuivre est une teinte de rouille. Bien qu’elle paraisse plutôt or sur  la photo, la fleur a bel et bien été découpée dans du papier cuivre.

Hello there,

Here is  my take on this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch challenge. I wanted to meet the sketch in an unusual way. Instead of stamping or gluing die-cuts I chose to cut out the upper left and the bottom right corners of the embossed front panel.

Voici ma participation au challenge CAS(E) This Sketch de cette semaine. Pour interpréter le sketch de façon originale; j’ai choisi de découper les coins supérieur gauche et inférieur droit du panneau avant de ma carte.
