Hello!

Here is my take on the color palette Amy has chosen for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge. I love to pair yellow and grey, I think they make a perfect color scheme for a modern and non-gender baby card.

Voici mon interprétation du combo proposé par Amy pour le  challenge Color Throwdown de cette semaine. J’adore combiner le jaune et le gris et je trouve que c’est une association parfaite pour carte de naissance moderne et non genrée.

Hello!

Here is my take on the color palette Amy has chosen for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge. This rather « girly » color scheme inspired me a card dedicated to Friendship. I used the negative part of a splotch die cut as a stencil to blend some peach, pink and plum inks. The sentiment roughly means « A friend colors life »

Voici mon interprétation du combo proposé par Amy pour le  challenge Color Throwdown de cette semaine . Ces couleurs plutôt girly m’ont inspiré cette carte célébrant l’amitié. J’ai utilisé une matrice de coupe pour réaliser un pochoir en forme de tache et créer un dégradé d’encres pêche, rose et prune.

Hello there,

Here is my take on this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge. I chose to go with a very simple birthday card.My first intent was to use some Washi tapes for the bottom strips of the sketch but I changed my mind and played with alcoholic markers instead.

Ma première intention était d’utiliser des bandes de Masking Tape pour représenter les bandes, mais je me suis ravisée et ai finalement opté pour des traits réalisés avec des feutres à alcool.

Hello!

 

Here is my take on this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge. Wanda has chosen a lovely spring color palette. I chose to go with a birthday card featuring yellow tulips, I love yellow tulips. I colored the tulips using Copic markers and added a twine bow for the kraft.

Voici ma participation au  challenge Color Throwdown de cette semaine où Wanda nous propose un joli combo printanier. J’ai opté pour une carte d’anniversaire avec des tulipes, j’adore les tulipes jaunes. Je les ai mises en couleur avec des marqueurs à alcool.  Pour le kraft, j’ai ajouté un noeud de ficelle.

Hello there,

Here is my take on  this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge. I love how simple this design is. Once more, I chose to add the colors on the background and  an outlined image. But this time, I didn’t use any ink nor watercolor, I tore some strips of paper instead.

J’adore la belle simplicité de ce sketch Pour cette carte encore, j’ai choisi de mettre la couleur sur le fond et de simplement tamponner la fleur par dessus sans la coloriser. Mais cette fois, je n’ai utilisé ni encre ni aquarelle … j’ai déchiré des bandes de papier.
