Hello there,

Here is my take on  this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge. I love how simple this design is. Once more, I chose to add the colors on the background and  an outlined image. But this time, I didn’t use any ink nor watercolor, I tore some strips of paper instead.

Voici ma participation au challenge CAS(E) This Sketch  de cette semaine. J’adore la belle simplicité de ce sketch Pour cette carte encore, j’ai choisi de mettre la couleur sur le fond et de simplement tamponner la fleur par dessus sans la coloriser. Mais cette fois, je n’ai utilisé ni encre ni aquarelle … j’ai déchiré des bandes de papier.

Hello there,

Here is my take on  this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge. This layered sketch made me want to play with some patterned papers. I have so many of them and yet, I seldom use them. I chose to go with a baby card.

Cette superposition de formes m’a donné envie d’utiliser quelques uns de mes nombreux papiers imprimés … J’en ai un stock absolument monumental et les utilise si peu. Hello there,

I come today with a card that was inspired by this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge. I chose to go with a one-layer card. The tricky job has been to stamp the bloom branch over 2 of the background papers without showing any demarcation line.

Hello there,

Here is my take on this week’s  CAS(E) This Sketch challenge. I’m still playing with my brand new stamps set and I turned the sketch upside down to be able to showcase this pretty flowery light bulb. I slightly colored it using some basic coloring pencils

Je continue à étrenner mon nouveau set de tampons (nouvelle collection Simply Graphic) et j’ai donc retourné le sketch pour pouvoir  mettre en scène ce joli tampon ampoule fleurie que j’ai légèrement colorisé avec de simples crayons de couleur.

Hello there,

 

Here is my take on this week’s sketch over at CAS(E) This Sketch . I’ve been wanting to try the « alcohol markers on rhodoid » technique for a while. When I saw the sketch I had just received my new Sizzix toys and I immediately thought it was a perfect occasion to give a try to this fabulous technique. Here is the card I came up with. It was my very first attempt with alcohol markers on rhodoid and it won’t be the last.

La carte d’aujourd’hui répond au sketch proposé par CAS(E) This Sketch  cette semaine. Cela faisait un moment que j’avais envie de tester la technique des marqueurs à alcool sur du rhodoïd. Lorsque j’ai découvert le sketch, je venais juste de recevoir mes nouveaux joujoux de chez Sizzix et je me suis dit que c’était l’occasion parfaite. Voici le résultat. C’était un premier essai et ce ne sera certainement pas le dernier. J’aime beaucoup le rendu.

Hello there,

As soon as I saw this week’s sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch I thought of that sweet die-cut I haven’t used since last Christmas. Its shape is just perfect to mimic the polaroid.

Dès que j’ai vu le sketch propose par CAS(E) This Sketch  cette semaine, j’ai repensé à cette adorable découpe qui dormait dans un tiroir depuis Noël dernier. Sa forme est parfaite pour évoquer le format polaroid du sketch.
