Color Throwdown #555, CAS(E) This Sketch #334 and Just Us Girls #500

Hi there,

   

I’m not used to combining challenges but, for once I did so. Actually, I’m just back to card making after my summer break and there are several challenges I wanted to join in. I probably won’t have enough time to create a card for each of them before they end. I used the color palette from Color Throwdown #555, the sketch comes from this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch challenge and Just Us Girls #500 is about circles.

Je n’ai pas pour habitude de combiner des challenges, mais, pour une fois et faute de temps pour faire 3 cartes avant la fin des challenges concernés,  c’est ce que j’ai fait. J’ai utilisé le combo du challenge Color Throwdown #555, le sketch de CAS(E) This Sketch #334 et la consigne « Cercles » du challenge Just us Girls de cette semaine.

Hi everyone,

 

Here is the card I’m entering into this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge.  I chose to go with a masculine birthday card. I was trying to make my mind between various options for the vertical stripe when I thought of this die cut I hadn’t use in a while. After that, all came easily.

Voici ma participation au challenge CAS(E) This Sketch de cette semaine. J’ai opté pour une carte d’anniversaire plutôt masculine. J’essayais de trouver une idée pour représenter la bande verticale lorsque je me suis souvenu de cette matrice de coupe que je n’avais pas utilisée depuis des lustres. Après, tout s’est enchaîné facilement

Hi everyone,

I had a card ready for CAS(E) This Sketch #330 challenge but,  unfortunately, because of an internet connexion issue, I haven’t been able to enter it before the linky closes. Anyway, here is my take on the sketch.

J’avais fait une carte pour challenge CAS(E) This Sketch #330. Mais, malheureusement, en raison d’un souci d’accès  internet je n’ai pas pu entrer mais participation avant l’heure limite. Je viens néanmoins la partager ici.

Hi everyone,

I come back with a second card inspired by this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch challenge. In my previous post I told you that this sketch was very inspiring. So inspiring, that I couldn’t resist giving it another try and created a masculine birthday card.

Je reviens avec une seconde participation au challenge CAS(E) This Sketch de cette semaine … Dans mon post précédent je vous disais que je trouvais ce sketch très inspirant. Tellement inspirant, même,  que je n’ai pas résisté à la tentation de faire une autre carte. Cette fois c’est une carte d’anniversaire plutôt masculine.

Hi everyone,

Here is my take on this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch challenge. At first sight it may seem a bit scary, but giving it a second thought, it is a terrific sketch. The perfect sketch to make your creativity flow. I chose to go with a super simple card featuring the negative part of a die-cut that remained from a previous card and that I had forgotten to throw away.

Voici ma participation au challenge CAS(E) This Sketch de cette semaine … Au premier abord, ce sketch peut paraît effrayant.  Mais au bout du compte, je trouve, qu’au contraire, il est très inspirant. J’ai opté pour une carte minimaliste mettant en scène le négatif d’une découpe restant d’une carte précédente et que j’avais oublié de jeter.

Hi everyone,

Here is my take on this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch challenge. To create my card for the last Color Thowdown challenge (There), I used some flower die cuts as a mask while dabbing some ink on the background. As a result, I was left with some colored flowers I didn’t intend to use for the card I was working on. They provided me with a perfect starting point for the current CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge.

Voici ma participation au challenge CAS(E) This Sketch de cette semaine … Lorsque j’ai fait ma carte pour le précédent challenge Color Throwdown (Celle-ci) , je me suis servi de découpes de fleurs comme masque pour encrer le fond.  Je me suis donc retrouvée avec des fleurs colorées que je n’avais pas l’intention d’utiliser sur la carte en question. Elles m’ont fourni le point de départ de cette seconde carte.

Hi everyone,

I come to the the very last minute to share the card I’m entering into this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch challenge. Some leftovers from the card I created for the Freshly Made Sketches DT (that one) were still sitting on my scrap table and I decided to use them for a wedding card.

C’est sur le fil que je viens poster ma participation au challenge CAS(E) This Sketch de cette semaine … Après avoir fait la carte pour la DT de Freshly Made Sketches (Celle-ci) , il me restait des chutes de papier et j’ai décidé de les utiliser pour une carte de félicitations pour un mariage.

Hi everyone,

The picked raspberry, spiced marmalade and mustard seed Distress inks I used for the last Color Throwdown challenge were still sitting on my desk and I decided to use them again to color a butterfly die-cut. I doodled a swirl, added some splatters, sequins, silver dots and rhinestones and here is my take on this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch challenge..

Les encres Distress picked raspberry, spiced marmalade and mustard seed que j’avais utilisées pour faire ma carte pour le dernier challenge Color Throwdwon était restées sur ma table de travail, j’ai donc décidé de m’en resservir pour coloriser une découpe de papillon. J’ai griffonné un tourbillon, ajouté quelques tâches d’encre rose, des sequins, des dots argentés et des strass et, hop, hop, hop,  voici ma participation au challenge CAS(E) This Sketch de cette semaine.

Hi everyone,

 

I come today with a graphic and masculine birthday card that I’m entering into  this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch challenge. I inked a large chevron stamp in lime green, ocean green and teal then I fussy-cut the different parts in order to place them according to the sketch.

Voici ma participation au challenge CAS(E) This Sketch de cette semaine. J’ai opté pour une carte d’anniversaire graphique et masculine. J’ai utilisé un grand tampon « chevrons’ que j’ai encré en vert lime, vert océan et turquoise puis j’ai découpé les différentes parties pour pouvoir les placer selon le sketch.

I come today with another rather graphic birthday card . It was inspired  this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch challenge. I had a lot of fun freely mixing stamping and doodling.
