Hi,

Today is  another two-post day, I come with a second card that I’m entering into this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch challenge. I wanted my card to be less geometric and chose to go with a whimsical and colorful take on the sketch. A big black « Smile » and some watercolor splotches make all the job.

Aujourd’hui également, j’ai une seconde carte à partager avec vous. Elle répond au challenge CAS(E) This Sketch de cette semaine. j’avais envie d’une carte un peu moins géométrique  que ce que le sketch suggère au départ. J’ai donc opté pour une interprétation fantaisiste et colorée. Un gros « Smile » noir et quelques aplats d’aquarelle ont, à eux seuls, la mission de figurer la MEP proposée.

Hello there,

I come today with my take on the current CAS(E) This Sketch challenge. There are some gorgeous samples from the DT featuring circles, or flowers or butterflies and I wanted to find something different. I chose to go with a masculine birthday card and I used squares and letters instead of circles.

Voici ma participation au challenge CAS(E) This Sketch de cette semaine. La DT a fait de superbes cartes avec des cercles, des fleurs ou encore des papillons et je voulais trouver quelque chose de différent. J’ai donc opté pour une carte d’anniversaire masculine et j’ai remplacé les cercles par des carrés et des lettres.

Hi,

I come today with my take on this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge. I surely was in a romantic mood when I created this card using this pretty patterned paper that reminds me of Liberty fabric. The DSP comes from a danish brand : Sostrene Grenes. The die cuts and the stamp are from a french brand : Simply Graphic.

Voici ma participation au challenge CAS(E) This Sketch de cette semaine. Pour cette carte également, j’ai décidé d’utiliser un  imprimé pour le fond et c’est encore un papier provenant de chez Sostrene Grenes. J’ai flashé sur le romantisme de ces motifs qui me rappellent le Liberty. J’ai fouiné dans ma collection de dies et de tampons Simply Graphic pour y trouver ceux qui s’accordent parfaitement avec les motifs du papier.

This week’s sketch at CAS(E) This sketch is super simple and I meant to create a very simple card. But, for some reason I can’t even explain to myself, I forgot about CAS and went much further than I intended to. Anyway, here is what I came up with.

Le sketch CAS(E) This Sketch de cette semaine est minimaliste et j’avais bien l’intention de faire une carte très simple. Mais voilà, pour une raison que je ne m’explique même pas, je me suis laissé entrainer dans mon élan et je suis allée beaucoup plus loin que prévu. Voici ce qu’il en est ressorti :

Hi there,

I come today with a masculine card I’m entering onto this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch challenge. I must confess I felt quite puzzled when I first saw the sketch. And then, it appeared to me that it provided me with a perfect occasion to use some of my overnumerous washi tapes. Here is what I came up with.

Voici mon interprétation du sketch CAS(E) This Sketch de cette semaine. Je dois bien avouer que, de prime abord, ce sketch m’a laissée plutôt perplexe. Et puis, j’ai réalisé qu’il m’offrait une occasion en or d’utiliser quelques uns de mes trop nombreux Masking Tape. Au final une carte masculine, à offrir à un papa, par exemple.

Hello there,

Here is my take on this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch challenge. I wanted my card to be very simple and I stayed quite true to the sketch. As soon as I saw it, I knew I’ll use that text stamp for the vertical rectangle. I cut out the flowers with a very, very old punch I’ve not been using for ages. Actually it is one of my very first purchases when I started card making.

Voici ma participation au défi CAS(E) This Sketch  de cette semaine. J’avais envie d’une carte très simple et qui colle au plus près au sketch proposé. Pour le rectangle vertical, j’ai utilisé un tampon texte de L’Encre et l’Image que j’aime beaucoup et, pour les fleurs, je me suis servi d’une très, très, très vieille perforatrice que j’ai depuis des lustres puisqu’elle date de mes débuts en carterie il y a …. pffffff …. tellement d’années déjà.

Hi there,

I come today with another very simple card inspired by another challenge I didn’t want to miss. This week’s sketch over at CAS(E) This Sketch gave me the perfect occasion to play with my new 4enScrap die-cut. Actually I used the negative part to create a peek-a-boo sentiment. (which means « Happy New Year »).

Encore une carte toute simple et encore un challenge que je ne voulais pas laisser passer. Le sketch CAS(E) This Sketch de cette semaine m’a donné l’occasion idéale d’étrenner mon nouveau die « Bonne Année » 4enScrap. En fait j’ai utilisé la parte négative et comme ce die est de taille conséquente, je n’ai pas ajouté grand chose, des stickers chiffre, un flocon pailleté, quelques dots et 1 strass.

Hello,

For once, I combined two challenges to create today’s card. I used the color palette from Color Throwdown and this week’s sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch. Mixing those 2 challenges inspired me this joyful and starry Season’s Greeting card.

Une fois n’est pas coutume, j’ai combiné deux challenges pour réaliser la carte que je vous présente aujourd’hui. J’ai suivi le combo Color Throwdown de cette semaine et le sketch proposé par CAS(E) This Sketch pour le challenge en cours. La réunion de ces 2 challenges m’a inspiré cette carte de vœux joyeuse et étoilée.

Hello there,

I come today with another ultra CAS card! It was inspired by this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch challenge. A bit of twine, one die-cut glittery snowflake, 2 wooden beads, 3 silver dots and that’s it. Wow! If I keep on going that way I’ll end up creating cards with nothing more than the sentiment. 😀 😀 😀

Et encore une carte de vœux ultra minimaliste. Elle répond au challenge CAS(E) This Sketch de cette semaine. Un peu de ficelle, un flocon découpé dans du papier pailleté, 2 perles en bois, 3 petits dots argentés et c’est tout ! Ouh là, là, si je continue dans cette voie, je vais finir par faire des cartes avec uniquement un sentiment 😀 😀 😀

Hello there,

I come today with another very CAS Christmas card I created following this week’s sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch. Once again, I used this dark kraft cardstock I love so much and I can’t get enough with. This gingerbread color inspires me.

Pour aujourd’hui c’est encore une carte de Noël ultra clean et sobre. Elle répond au sketch CAS(E) This Sketch de cette semaine. Cette fois encore, j’ai utilisé ce kraft foncé, je ne m’en lasse pas, cette couleur pain d’épice  m’inspire.
