Pour le challenge de cette semaine, ColourQ nous a sélectionné un combo très classe ! Les réalisations de la DT rivalisent d’élégance. Voici ce que cela donne chez moi

ColourQ Challenge #342

Bonjour, Hi

La palette de couleurs pour le challenge 342 de ColourQ ne m’est pas habituelle, et la carte qui en résulte n’est pas vraiment dans mon style habituel non plus.  Mais c’est bien là l’intérêt des challenges non ?

I didn’t feel totally at ease with  this week’s ColourQ Challenge color combination. . But that’s  the interesting part of challenges , to force us out of our comfort zone… So I decided to give it a try . The card that came out is much less clean than usual.

Pour la réalisation des branchages, j’ai utilisé un die MarianneDesign. Je me suis servi du négatif de la découpe comme d’un pochoir pour encrer le motif de branchage sur le fond de carte avant de coller par dessus la découpe elle même. L’oiseau est également fait avec un die MarianneDesign

The branches come from  a MarianneDesign die. I used the negative part of the die cut as a stencil to ink the background and then adhered the die cut itself . The bird is also  from a MarianneDesign die. I die cut it twice and mixed the various parts to obtain a bi-color bird.

ColourQ #341

Hello !

J’avais l’intention de participer au challenge N°341 de ColourQ. Ma carte était prête mais voilà, je n’ai pas réussi à faire la photo avant la clôture des soumissions des participations 😦

I intended to enter my card into this week’s ColourQ challenge. The card was ready but I didn’t manage to take the picture before closing time 😦

ColourQ challenge #339

 

Bonjour (ou plutôt bonsoir)

Après la carte très C&S d’hier, je reviens aujourd’hui avec une carte plutôt freestyle pour le challenge N°339 de ColourQ.

J’ai utilisé un de mes tout nouveaux Dies Simply Graphic  … Un oiseau façon Origami. Je l’ai découpé 4 fois en blanc et un fois dans chacune des couleurs demandées (Orange, vert, bleu moyen et bleu foncé). J’ai gardé 3 des structures blanches vides et j’ai garni la 4ème avec les petits morceaux colorés provenant des parties intérieures de mes découpes en couleurs (bon j’espère que vous me suivez …) Quelques coups de tampon, quelques « dots » argentés et voici ce que cela donne .

I come back with a freestyle collage card I’m entering into this week’s ColourQ Challenge .

I used one of my brand new die. I love this origami bird … I die cut it 4 times out of white cardstock and once out of each color of the challenge . And then came the tricky part.  I made a sort of patchwork, filling one of the white structures with some of the  tiny inner parts of the coloured die cuts. I adhered the 3 left empty white structures to my inked background and popped up the coloured origami bird with dimensional foam. The french sentiment means « Thinking of you ». Here is the result :
