FUSION – Family #2

Hi there,

As I told you in my previous, I made 2 cards for the current FUSION Challenge. Here is the second one. I used a patterned paper and a baby handprint stamp I have for ages (I don’t even remember the brand they come from)

Comme je vous l’annonçais dans mon post précédant, j’ai fait 2 cartes pour le challenge FUSION en cours, voici donc la seconde. J’ai utilisé un imprimé et un tampon d’empreinte de main de bébé que j’ai depuis si longtemps que je ne me souviens même plus d’où ils proviennent …

FUSION – Family #1

Hi there,

The inspiration photo from the current FUSION Challenge undoubtedly makes me think of baby cards and I made two of them using the sketch. Here is my first take, it is featuring a lovely DSP that makes all the job and I didn’t had to add much to achieve my card.

L’image d’inspiration du challenge FUSION en cours m’a immédiatement fait pensé à des cartes de félicitation pour une naissance et j’ai ai fait 2. Voici la première avec un joli papier que j’aime beaucoup et qui se suffit presque à lui même. Je n’ai donc pas eu à ajouter grand chose.

FUSION – Kindness

Hi there,

Here am I with another very CAS card. It was inspired by the current FUSION Challenge. As soon as I saw the sketch, I knew that I will use this sentiment I love so much. It means « A friend colors life » and it seemed to me that its shape was perfect to stand for the oval on the sketch. To mimic the colorful background of the inspiration photo, I colored the flowers with watercolor and added some dashes with an alcohol marker.

Et me voici aujourd’hui avec, encore, une carte minimaliste. Elle répond au challenge FUSION en cours. Dès que j’ai vu le sketch, j’ai tout de suite pensé à ce tampon sentiment que j’aime énormément. Je trouve que sa forme est parfaite pour figurer l’ovale du sketch. Et, pour évoquer le fond bariolé de la photo d’inspiration, j’ai découpé les fleurs dans un papier que j’avais colorisé avec de l’aquarelle et griffonné de quelques gros traits avec un marqueur à alcool.

FUSION – VW Hippie

Hi there,

I come today with another colorful and cheery card. I’m entering it into the current FUSION challenge. I got inspired by the bright colors and the « Flower Power » style of the VW. I did use the sketch for the lay out but I was unable to prevent myself tilting the vertical panel. 😀

Et encore une carte trèèèèèès colorée. Elle répond au défi FUSION en cours. Je me suis inspirée des couleurs vives et du style « flower Power » du combi car. J’ai bien utilisé le sketch mais je n’ai pas pu m’empêcher d’incliner le panneau vertical 😀

FUSION – Rainbow Birds

Hi there,

Who could resist those sweet rainbow birds? I definitely couldn’t! Hence, here is the card I’m joining in the current FUSION challenge with. I rummaged through my stash to dig out this old stamp that works well for both the sketch and the inspiration image.

Ces oiseaux multicolores sont absolument irrésistibles, vous ne trouvez pas ? En tous cas, je n’y ai pas su y résister, Voici donc ma participation au défi FUSION en cours. J’ai farfouillé dans mon stock pour dénicher ce vieux tampon qui me semble parfaitement répondre à la fois au sketch et à l’inspi.

FUSION – Hedgehog Scooter

Hi there,

Not a single hedgehog nor any scooter of any kind to be found in my stash. Still, I definitely wanted to join in the current FUSION challenge with a fusion card. The only way left to me was to use the colors and the gingham pattern of the inspiration photo. I also wanted my card to be childish, I drew an irregular gingham using an alcohol based marker and here is what I came up with :

Pas un seul hérisson ni aucun scooter parmi mon matériel! Je tenais pourtant absolument à participer au challenge FUSION en cours avec une carte « Fusion » (Sketch + inspi). Il ne me restait plus qu’une option: reprendre les couleurs et le motif vichy de la photo. Comme je souhaitais également une carte naïve, j’ai tracé un vichy irrégulier avec un feutre à alcool. Voici le résultat :

FUSION – Butterfly Wreath

Hello,

I come today with my take on both the sketch and the inspiration photo from the current FUSION challenge. I was in need of a cheery birthday card and this gorgeous Butterfly wreath was perfect to get me started. The bold « Happy » stands for the horizontal rectangle of the sketch and the dotted butterfly is for the circle.

Voici ma participation au challenge FUSION en cours. Je me suis servi du sketch et de la photo pour réaliser cette carte d’anniversaire colorée et gaie. Je me suis inspirée des couleurs de la jolie couronne de papillons pour colorisé le mot « Happy » qui représente la bande horizontale du sketch et le papillon que j’ai parsemé de petits points multicolores , le cercle.

FUSION – Tropical Fish

Hello everyone,

I come again today to share the card I’m entering into the current FUSION challenge. The inspiration photo and the sketch made me think of the portholes of a submarine. Hence, I decided to go with a shaker card with a sea-side mood.

Un deuxième post pour aujourd’hui, cette fois je vous présente ma participation au challenge FUSION. La photo et le sketch m’ont fait penser aux hublots d’un sous-marin, j’ai donc opté pour une carte à secouer d’inspiration marine.

FUSION : Cheery Eggs.

Despite the title of this post, there isn’t a single egg on today’s card, there isn’t any cheery colors either. All the same, it is my take on the current FUSION challenge. I got inspire by the raffia cord and the doily on the inspiration photo to create this wedding card.

Contrairement à ce que pourrait laisser présager le titre de cet article, il n’y a pas un seul œuf sur la carte que je vous présente aujourd’hui, et il n’y a pas de couleurs vives non plus. Et pourtant, c’est bien ma participation au challenge FUSION en cours. J’ai repris le sketch et me suis inspirée de de la photo dont j’ai repris la ficelle de raphia et le napperon pour créer cette carte de félicitation pour un mariage.

FUSION – Create

Hello there,

I come today with a card I’m entering into the current FUSION challenge. There’s a great sketch and a fabulous inspiration photo. It inspired me a rather masculine card. The color scheme, the stripes, the creativity theme, … there are so many inspiring elements I wanted to use in my card. The fish tail banner in the sketch and the frame with the letters in the photo provided me with a perfect occasion to use this Washi Tape I love so much.

La carte d’aujourd’hui répond au challenge en cours chez FUSION. Le sketch proposé et la photo d’inspiration sont vraiment très, très sympas et ils m’ont donné envie d’une carte plutôt masculine. Les couleurs, les rayures, le thème de la création, il y a tellement d’éléments très inspirants que j’ai souhaité reprendre dans ma carte. Le fanion du sketch et le tableau d’ophtalmo sur la photo m’ont donné l’occasion idéale d’utiliser ce Masking Tape que j’aime tant. (et qui n’est pas si facile à placer dans une carte)
