FUSION – Easter Bunny

Hello friends.

I come today with a birthday card that was inspired by the current FUSION challenge! I love that fun sketch and the photo inspiration is so pretty.  I got inspired by the gorgeous tulip bouquet. Tulips are such elegant flowers

Voici ma participation au challenge FUSION en cours. Ce sketch est très sympa et l’inspiration photo tellement jolie. J’en ai repris les couleurs et le magnifique bouquet de tulipes. Les tulipes sont des fleurs tellement élégantes !

FUSION – Rain or Shine.

Hi,

La carte d’aujourd’hui répond au challenge FUSION de la quinzaine. J’ai utilisé le sketch pour la mise en page et me suis inspirée de la photo dont j’ai repris le thème de l’amitié ainsi que les couleurs jaune et rose. En clin d’œil, je me suis amusée à jouer sur le mot « Couleur » du tampon avec ces deux taches de peintures qui reprennent donc les couleurs des manteaux des deux amies.

I come today with a joyful card that was inspired by the current FUSION challenge. This card is dedicated to friendship. A friend brightens life, that is more or less what the sentiment means. A literal translation would be « A friend colors life ». I played with the word « Color » using those two vivid paint splotches. I used the same colors as the ones from the inspiration photo.

FUSION – St Paddy’s day

Hi there,

La carte d’anniversaire que je vous présente aujourd’hui répond au challenge FUSION en cours . Comme toujours, j’ai suivi le sketch et utilisé la photo comme source d’inspiration pour réaliser ce bouquet de fleurs sauvages. Un petit noeud noir évoque le détail de la ceinture sur le pot de fleurs.

I come today with a birthday card I created for the current FUSION Challenge. As always, I used the sketch for the lay out and got inspired from the photo to create this wild flower bouquet tied by a black bow to mimic the black belt on the flower pot.

FUSION – Spring Wreath

Hi there,

Voici ma participation au challenge FUSION en cours. Je devais être dans un était d’esprit plutôt romantique lorsque j’ai fait ma carte. Je me suis inspirée de la photo pour les couleurs et aussi pour la couronne, même si j’ai préféré des papillons aux fleurs.

Here is my take on the challenge over at FUSION. I suppose I was in a rather romantic mood when I created this card. I got inspired by the color palette of the photo as well as by the beautiful wreath but I chose to feature butterflies rather than flowers.

FUSION – Stained Glass Hearts

Hi there,

Voici ma participation au challenge FUSION en cours. J’ai préféré mettre des fleurs plutôt que des fleurs mais j’ai repris l’effet vitrail de la photo. Jai découpé chaque fleur 2 fois. Une fois dans du cardstock noir et une fois dans du papier de couleur. Puis, j’ai réinséré les parties colorées dans les contours noirs.

I come today with a card I created for the current FUSION challenge. I chose to go with flowers instead of hearts but to mimic the stained glass, I diecut each flower twice. Once out of black cardstock and once out of colored cardstock. Then I inlaid the colored pieces into the black ones.  The sentiment means « You’re an amazing friend »

FUSION – Red Christmas

Et voici ma participation au challenge FUSION de la quinzaine! Je ne pouvais pas manquer cette si belle occasion de faire une carte de vœux en rouge et blanc. Comme toujours avec ces challenges là, j’ai suivi le sketch et me suis inspirée de la photo dont j’ai retenu le joli bouquet de Noël.

Here is my take on the current FUSION  Challenge. I certainly wouldn’t miss this occasion to make a white-and-red Christmas card … As always, I used the sketch for the lay-out and got inspired by the pretty bouquet on the photo.

FUSION – Grateful

Hello there,

Aujourd’hui je vous présente la carte que j’ai réalisée pour le challenge FUSION de la quinzaine. Comme d’habitude, j’ai utilisé les deux parties du challenge, le sketch pour la mise en page et la photo dont j’ai repris les couleurs neutres et la si jolie couronne de feuilles.

I come today with a card for the current FUSION Challenge! As always, I made a fusion. I used the sketch for the lay-out and took various element from the inspiration photo. I got inspired from the gorgeous beautiful autumn leaves wreath and the neutral colors. As in France we do not celebrate Thanksgiving,  I chose to make a Season’s Greetings card. The copper embossed sentiment means « A year of happiness »

FUSION – Autumn Leaves

Hello,

Pour aujourd’hui, ce sera encore une carte de Noël. Bien que les feuilles d’automne soient devenues des étoiles d’hiver, je me suis largement inspirée de la photo proposée pour le challenge FUSION en cours. Cela n’est, hélas, pas très visible sur ma photo, mais j’ai réalisé mon fond en tamponnant 3 teintes d’encres bleues puis j’ai appliquée la technique du bokeh pour ajouter les cercles blancs avant de terminer par quelques éclaboussures d’encre blanche.

I’m back with another Christmas card. Even though I turned the autumn leaves into winter stars, I got inspired from the gorgeous photo the FUSION team has chosen for the current challenge. It’s quite hard to see on my photo but I created the background by blending three shades of blue inks. Then, I used some stencils and dabbed white ink to make the white circles. I finished it off with a few white splatters.

FUSION – Striped Wreath

Hello there

Waouhhh ! regardez la superbe inspiration que la DT de Fusion nous a dégotée pour le challenge de cette quinzaine ! Je ne pouvais pas résister à ces rayures noires et blanches et à ce magnifique nœud vert … A l’exception de la tête de mort (ce n’est vraiment pas ma tasse de thé et j’ai préféré la remplacer par un gros strass) j’ai donc repris tous les éléments de la photo pour faire ma carte.

Wow! Look at the fabulous inspiration the Fusion team has chosen for  this fortnight challenge! I couldn’t resist those black and white stripes and this gorgeous green bow. Except for the skull, (I put a big rhinestone instead)  I took every elements of the photo to make my card.

FUSION – Teacup Flowers – [La vie en rose 3]

Bonjour, Hi there,

Sans plus attendre, voici donc la 3ème et dernière carte de ma mini série La vie en rose … Toujours ce rose vif, mais cette fois, la rose (la fleur)  a cédé la place à une fleur de cerisier qui me semblait plus adaptée pour répondre au challenge FUSION de la quinzaine.

Here is the card I made for the current FUSION Challenge. As usual, I made a Fusion, I used the sketch for the lay-out and got inspired from the flowers of the photo.
