Je suis si contente que les Challenges Fusion reprennent … J’aime beaucoup leurs défis qui consistent à combiner (si on le souhaite) un sketch et une inspi photo. (mais on peut tout à fait ne suivre que le sketch ou que la photo). Pour ce nouveau challenge, j’ai respecté le Sketch (avec quelques petites libertés) et je me suis inspirée des couleurs et des motifs de feuilles de la photo.  Pour  les feuilles, j’ai utilisé le négatif de la découpe (un die Simply Graphic) comme pochoir pour appliquer de l’encre à l’éponge.

I’m so glad Fusion challenges are back . I love to play with both the  sketch and the photo inspiration. For this new challenge I used the sketch and  I got inspired by the green and black palette and by the leaves pattern of the photo. I sponged the plain leaves using the negative part of a die-cut as a stencil .

Pour son nouveau challenge FUSION nous propose une inspiration résolument marine. Je suis partie du sketch et de la photo dont j’ai retenu, les couleurs et les rayures.  J’ai opté pour une carte plutôt graphique et clean.

Here is my take on the current FUSION challenge. I got inspired by the sea-side atmosphere and the striped patterns of the picture. I chose to make a clean and graphical card using the sketch for the lay out.

Cette carte est tellement simple qu’il n’y a pas grand chose à en dire … du masking-tape, un tampon, un die cadre,  quelques enamel dots, un peu de fil de coton, un bouton  et le tour est joué !

This card is so simple that there isn’t much to say abour it . The starting point is some washi-tapes and a die cut frame . I added a few enamel dots, some cotton embroidery thread,  stamped the sentiment (meaning « Happy birthday ») and that’s it
