Happy Saturday everyone! It’s time for a new challenge over at Just Us Girls. Nancy is our hostess this week and she has chosen to highlight the inlaid die-cuts technique. To create my card I used a 3 step inlay technique. I started by die-cutting the two flowers out of some plain white cardstock. I colored the outer lines and the inner parts separately. Then I embedded all the elements to recreate the 2 flowers. When I was done, I die-cut the first flower (the one on the left) out of the card main panel and inlaid the colored flower. I die-cut the second flower with a slight overlap on the first one and inlaid the second colored flower.

Nous sommes samedi, le nouveau challenge  Just Us Girls est en ligne. Cette semaine, c’est Nancy qui mène la danse et elle vous demande d’utiliser la technique des découpes incrustées. Je me suis prise au jeu et j’ai réalisé une incrustation en 3 étapes. J’ai commencé par découper les 2 fleurs dans une chute de papier blanc, j’en ai colorisé les contours et les parties intérieures séparément puis , j’ai tout ré assemblé pour reconstituer les fleurs. Ensuite, j’ai découpé la première fleur (celle de gauche) dans le panneau avant de la carte et j’ai incrusté la fleur colorisée dans l’espace ainsi crée. Pour finir, j’ai découpé la seconde fleur en la faisant se chevaucher sur la première et j’ai incrusté la seconde fleur colorisée.
