Color Throwdown #660

Hello!

I come today with a card that was inspired by the color palette Wanda has chosen for this week’s Color Throwdown challenge. I got some inspiration from the photo and I chose to go with a masculine birthday card showcasing this gecko stamp I love so much. Orange is a perfect color for a gecko, isn’t it? For the backdrop, I die cut the 2 stitched squares out of some watercolor paper with a blue and green wash.

La carte du jour répond au combo choisi par Wanda pour le challenge Color Throwdown de cette semaine. Je me suis inspirée de la photo et j’ai opté pour une carte d’anniversaire plutôt masculine avec ce tampon gecko que j’aime beaucoup. L’orange me semble être une belle couleur pour un gecko, non? Pour l’arrière plan, j’ai découpé les deux carrés dans du papier aquarelle sur lequel j’avais appliqué un lavis bleu et vert.
