Color Throwdown #676

Hello!

I come in a hurry to enter my card into this week’s Color Throwdown challenge, it will be closing in a few hours. Lisa has chosen a very classy color palette for us to play with. I chose to go with a very simple friendship card with a watercolor background. I started by applying a red wash on some cream watercolor paper. After complete dry, I added some red ink splatters and gold acrylic paint splotches. I wanted my background to be the star of my card, thus added very few other elements.

C’est sur le fil que je viens entrer ma participation au challenge Color Throwdown de cette semaine, il ne reste que quelques heures avant la fin. Lisa nous y a proposé un combo très, très classe que j’ai choisi d’interpréter avec une carte d’amitié très simple avec un fond à l’aquarelle. J’ai commencé par appliquer un lavis rouge sur du papier aquarelle blanc cassé. Après séchage complet, j’ai projeté un peu d’encre de chine rouge et également fait quelques taches avec de la peinture acrylique or. J’ai voulu laisser la vedette à ce fond. Aussi, n’ai-je ajouté que très peu d’éléments.
