Hello everyone,

It’s time for another challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches and this week the sketch has been designed by Karren. It is definitely a clean, graphic and versatile one. It can suit any project. I chose to go with a Mothers Day card. I used a tag for the sketch diamond and a twine for the middle stripe.

Pour ma part, j’en ai fait une carte pour la fête des Mères avec un tag à la place du losange et de la ficelle pour figurer la bande du milieu du sketch.

JUST US Girls #538 – Wild-card.

Hello there,

Happy Saturday everyone! It’s time for a new challenge over at Just Us Girls. We have a 5th Saturday this month, so that means it’s Wild Card Week and Sue wants you to use at least 2 different patterned papers. That’s rather challenging for me, I do love patterned papers, I have plenty of them in my stash but I hardly use some on my cards !!! Thus, this card definitely makes an exception. I stamped the butterflies on 4 different patterned papers (The patterns on the mint butterfly hardly show on the photos) and even used a fifth patterned paper for the background.

Il est temps de vous présenter le nouveau challenge Just Us Girls .  Comme c’est le cinquième samedi du mois, c’est un challenge « libre » que Sue  vous propose et elle vous demande d’utiliser au moins 2 papiers imprimés différents. C’est presque une gageure pour moi qui adore les papiers imprimés mais en utilise très peu sur mes cartes !!! Cette carte fait donc exception. J’ai tamponné les papillons sur 4 papiers imprimés différents (bien que les motifs du papillon menthe ne se voient quasiment pas sur les photos) et j’en ai même utilisé un cinquième pour le fond.

And closer views that better show the white patterns on the mint butterfly/ 2 vues plus rapprochées pour mieux apercevoir les motifs blanc du papillon couleur menthe.

Hello!

Here is my take on the color palette Amy has chosen for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge. I love to pair yellow and grey, I think they make a perfect color scheme for a modern and non-gender baby card.

Voici mon interprétation du combo proposé par Amy pour le  challenge Color Throwdown de cette semaine. J’adore combiner le jaune et le gris et je trouve que c’est une association parfaite pour carte de naissance moderne et non genrée.

JUST US Girls #534 – Trend Week – Mini

Happy Saturday everyone! It’s time for a new challenge over at Just Us Girls. It’s Trend week, and Carol has chosen « Mini ». That means tiny elements and a lot of white space. No need to say that I’m totally Ok with this 🙂 I created a mini envelope and filled it with tiny flowers, leaves and butterflies … Even the sentiment refers to « mini » since it means: « A small message for you« .

Il est temps de vous présenter le nouveau challenge Just Us Girls .  Cette semaine, Carol a choisi de vous faire plancher sur « Mini ». Donc, la consigne est simple : des petits éléments et beaucoup d’espace vide … autant dire que cela me convient parfaitement 😉 . J’ai confectionné une mini enveloppe que j’ai garnie avec des mini fleurs, des mini feuilles et des mini papillons … et même le sentiment joue le jeu avec un petit message …

Here is mine, a background stamp stamped twice in reverse directions, a « Birds on a branch » die cut and I’m done.
