It’s wednesday again, that means that it’s time for a new challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches. This week’s hostess is Amy and she has designed a lovely sketch for you to work with. I chose to go with a soft wedding card. For once, I stayed quite true to the sketch except that I slightly shifted the focal image to the bottom right

Another quarantine week has gone by and it’s time for a new challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches . This week’s sketch has been designed by Jen T, check out how super great it is. As soon as I saw the circle I knew it was a perfect occasion to showcase this baroque frame diecut and I chose to go with a wedding card.

Hello there,

Here is my take on this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch challenge. I’m still playing with my brand new stamps set and I turned the sketch upside down to be able to showcase this pretty flowery light bulb. I slightly colored it using some basic coloring pencils

La carte d’aujourd’hui répond au sketch proposé par CAS(E) This Sketch cette semaine. Je continue à étrenner mon nouveau set de tampons (nouvelle collection Simply Graphic) et j’ai donc retourné le sketch pour pouvoir mettre en scène ce joli tampon ampoule fleurie que j’ai légèrement colorisé avec de simples crayons de couleur.

The new sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches is up. This week’s sketch is brought to you by Lee Ann, isn’t it a great clean design! I chose to go with a very simple wedding card with soft neutral colors and very few elements. Actually, the velvet ribbon bow nearly makes all the job.

Carte pour un mariage bleu.

Bonjour,

Comme promis hier, je reviens à la publication de mes cartes. Celle du jour date d’il y a quelques temps déjà et était destinée à féliciter une de mes amies pour son mariage.

Un carte tout en Simply Graphic (papier, matrices de coupe et tampon texte) et en bleu pour être dans les couleurs du mariage. Pour l’occasion j’avais ressorti ce die « Branche fleurie » que j’aime tant …

JUST US Girls #505 – Trend week

Hello Everyone,

I have a full box of leftovers from previous cards and I challenged myself to make a card using remainings only. I rummaged through my scraps of patterned papers and unused die-cuts. I picked a long rectangle of light grey doted paper, a narrow strip of black and white paper, a stitched heart, 3 roses and a tiny gold star. I piled them up, stamped a sentiment, added 3 sequins and here I am with a wedding card I’m entering into this week’s Just Us Girls challenge. It’s trend week and it’s all about stacking die-cuts… 😀

J’ai une boîte pleine de « restes » provenant de cartes précédentes et je me suis lancé le défi personnel de faire une carte en utilisant uniquement des restes. J’ai farfouillé parmi mes chutes de papiers imprimés et mes découpes non utilisées. J’ai choisi un long rectangle de papier gris clair avec des minis pois, une bande étroite de papier rayé noir et blanc, un cœur « couture », 3 roses et une minuscule étoile dorée. J’ai empilé tout ça, tamponné un sentiments, ajouté 3 sequins et me voici avec une carte de félicitations pour un mariage qui répond pile-poile au challenge Just Us Girls de cette semaine puis que le défi proposé est justement d’empiler des découpes … 😀

Color Throwdown #559 (4)

Hello!

Here is my fourth take on the color palette Vickie has chosen for this week’s Color Throwdown challenge. There are no birds on this one, but die-cut balloons instead. I changed the sentiment too but the one I used on this card comes from the the same set of stamps as the one on my previous cards

Voici donc ma 4ème carte mettant en scène le combo proposé par Vickie pour le challenge Color Throwdown de cette semaine. Pas d’oiseaux cette fois, j’ai choisi de les remplacer par des ballons. J’ai également changé le sentiment mais il provient de la même planche de tampons que celui des cartes précédentes.

Hello!

As I told you yesterday, I fell in love with the the color palette Vickie has chosen for this week’s Color Throwdown challenge. Here I am with my third take on it, still featuring those cute birds and the sweet sentiment. I changed the berry twig for a heartbeat die-cut and I slightly colored the birds in mustard and coral.

Comme je vous le disais hier, je suis complètement tombée sous le charme du combo proposé par Vickie pour le challenge Color Throwdown de cette semaine. Voici donc ma troisième participation avec toujours ces adorables petits oiseaux et ce joli sentiment. J’ai remplacé la branche de baies par une découpe « battements de cœur » et légèrement colorisé les oiseaux en moutarde et en corail clair.
