Color Throwdown #626

Hello!

Today’s card uses the color palette Lisa has chosen for this week’s Color Throwdown challenge. I felt like playing with my watercolors. I created a plum background by mixing Crimson red and Prussian blue. Then, I simply stamped some sketchy flowers in black over the watercolor splotches

La carte du jour répond au combo proposé par Lisa pour le challenge Color Throwdown de cette semaine. J’ai eu envie de sortir mes godets d’aquarelle. J’ai donc crée un fond prune en mélangeant du rouge cramoisi et du bleu de Prusse. Puis, j’ai tout simplement tamponné des fleurs stylisées en noir sur les tâches d’aquarelle.

JUST US Girls #566 – Trend week : Use a Stencil.

Happy Saturday everyone! Welcome to the newest Just Us Girls challenge. It’s trend week and Ina has chosen « stencil » for you to create with. I created the foliage by layering two different stencils and added some sequins and half pearls to represent flowers.

Cette semaine, chez Just Us Girls, nous vous proposons un challenge « technique » et Ina vous demande d’utiliser au moins un pochoir pour réaliser votre carte. Pour ma part, j’ai crée le feuillage en superposant deux pochoirs différents et j’ai ajouté quelques sequins et demi-perles pour évoquer des fleurs.

FUSION – Summer.

Hi there,

I come today with a very colorful and cheerful birthday card that was inspired by the current FUSION Challenge. I played with both the sketch and the photo. The photo inspired me the bright color scheme and the sentiment made of diecut letters.

Pour aujourd’hui ce sera une carte d’anniversaire très festive et haute en couleurs. Elle répond au challenge FUSION en cours. J’ai joué avec le sketch et la photo dont j’ai repris les couleurs vives et le sentiment fait de lettres découpées (en rappel de la pancarte « SUMMER ») .

Color Throwdown #604

Hello!

Wow, there’s such a classy and trendy color palette this week at Color Throwdown! Amy has chosen Black, White and Terracotta. I totally love those 3 colors together! I chose to go with a very simple birthday card. I die cut the ballons out of a black and white patterned paper, terracotta cardstock and the smallest one out of some mat copper foil cardstock. I tied them a black sewing thread for the strings.

Je suis sous le charme du combo proposé par Amy pour le challenge Color Throwdown de cette semaine. Elle a choisi blanc, noir et terracotta, je trouve que ces couleurs ensemble sont très classe et très tendance aussi. J’ai opté pour une carte d’anniversaire très simple. Les ballons sont découpés dans un papier imprimé noir et blanc, un papier couleur terre de sienne (ou orange brûlé ou terracotta) et le plus petit dans un papier cuivré mat. Je leur ai noué un fil à coudre en guise de ficelle.

Welcome to this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge. Linda is our hostess and she chose that « slimline » was this week key word. It’s my very first card with this format and it won’t be the last . I really loved creating it. There are so many lay out possibilities. I chose to go with a long star garland that does all the job. I die cut various stars in different sizes out of various papers.

Pour moi, ce format est une première et certainement pas une dernière. Je me suis bien amusée avec. Cela offre tant de possibilités de composition. J’ai choisi de réaliser une longue guirlande d’étoiles courant tout le long de la carte. J’ai découpé plusieurs étoiles de différentes tailles dans divers papiers.

JUST US Girls #545 – Color week.

Happy Saturday everyone! It’s time for a new challenge over at Just Us Girls, It’s my privilege to host the challenge this week. It’s a color challenge and I’ve chosen Teal, Mustard and Light Grey. It’s among my all time favorite color combination and I hope you’ll have plenty of fun playing with it.
I chose to go with a masculine birthday card featuring feathers.

Color Throwdown #602

Hello!

I come today with one more card featuring a gold butterfly. I can’t get enough of this Sizzix set of dies, and I love them even more when cut out of some gold or copper foil cardstock. They are just perfect for a quick and easy card. I only had to create a background by stamping a square 3 times using the color palette Barbara has chosen for
on this week’s Color Throwdown challenge.

Et encore une carte avec un grand papillon d’or. Je ne me lasse pas de ces matrices de coupe Sizzix et j’aime beaucoup les utiliser avec du papier or ou cuivre. Ces papillons sont tout simplement parfaits pour une carte rapide et facile à faire. J’ai juste eu à créer le fond en tamponnant un carré trois fois en utilisant les couleurs proposées par Barbara pour le challenge Color Throwdown de cette semaine.
