Hello there,

I come today with a card that was inspired by this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge. I chose to go with a one-layer card. The tricky job has been to stamp the bloom branch over 2 of the background papers without showing any demarcation line.

La carte d’aujourd’hui répond au sketch proposé par CAS(E) This Sketch  cette semaine. J’ai opté pour une carte simplissime. Le plus délicat a été de tamponner la branche fleurie à cheval sur 2 épaisseurs de papier sans qu’aucune démarcation ne se voit. Carte CTS365 - P1160207

FUSION – Cake

Hi there,

I come today with a card I’m entering onto the current  FUSION challenge. I got inspired by the colors (blue and gold) and the hexagons on the photo. I cold embossed some plain white cardstock and highlighted the hexagon pattern by dabbing various shades of blue inks.

La carte du jour répond  au challenge  FUSION  en cours. Je me suis inspirée de la photo dont j’ai retenu  les couleurs (bleu et or) et les hexagones décorant le gâteau. J’ai embossé à froid un morceau de papier blanc. Puis, pour faire ressortir les hexagones, j’ai appliqué différentes nuances d’encres bleues.

FUSION – Nature

Hi there,

Here is my take on the current  FUSION challenge. To mimic the blended and diffuse colors of the photo, I randomly applied teal and purple ink pads on a scrap of  white cardstock. Then, I stamped some patterns here and there, still using the same teal and purple inks. Finally, I stamped the butterflies in black and fussy cut them.

Voici ma participation  au challenge  FUSION  en cours. Pour recréer les couleurs diffuses de la photo, j’ai appliqué directement des encreurs violets et turquoises sur un morceau de papier blanc. Puis, j’ai tamponné quelques motifs au hasard et dans les mêmes tons. J’ai ensuite tamponné les papillons et les ai détourés.

Hello!

 

I come today with a card inspired by this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge. Amy has chosen a very fresh color palette. I went with a very simple male birthday card. I didn’t want to showcase greeneries and I was trying hard to find out what else could match with a multi-tonal green combo when I remembered of this salamander stamp.

Voici ma participation au challenge Color Throwdown de cette semaine où Amy nous propose un combo plein de fraîcheur qui m’a inspiré cette carte d’anniversaire plutôt masculine. Je n’avais pas très envie de mettre d’éléments végétaux et je me demandais ce qui pourrait bien aller avec un camaïeu de verts  lorsque je me suis souvenu de ce tampon salamandre.

Hello there,

Here is my take on this week’s  CAS(E) This Sketch challenge. I’m still playing with my brand new stamps set and I turned the sketch upside down to be able to showcase this pretty flowery light bulb. I slightly colored it using some basic coloring pencils

Je continue à étrenner mon nouveau set de tampons (nouvelle collection Simply Graphic) et j’ai donc retourné le sketch pour pouvoir  mettre en scène ce joli tampon ampoule fleurie que j’ai légèrement colorisé avec de simples crayons de couleur.

Broni has chosen a lovely very soft color palette for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge. Because it should be Mother’s Day all the year round and because I was dying to give a try to my new stamp set, I went with a card to send love to a beloved mother.

Broni nous propose un joli combo très tendre pour le challenge Color Throwdown de cette semaine. Parce qu’il n »y a pas de jour pour dire je t’aime à sa Maman et parce que j’avais très envie d’essayer mon nouveau set de tampons, voici une petite carte pour envoyer un mot doux à une Maman chérie.

Après la carte répondant à l’inspi, publiée hier, voici maintenant ma version du joli combo de mars proposé par Eli29 sur le Forum Little Scrap …

Elle a comme un petit air de famille avec la carte présentée hier. Et pour cause, j’ai utilisé une chute du tamponnage à motif rayé dans lequel j’avais découpé  un carré pour faire la carte de l’inspi.

Cela fait un bon moment que je n’ai pas pu honorer l’un des chouettes défis proposés sur le Forum Little Scrap … Alors, je suis ravie d’avoir réussi à trouver un peu de temps pour répondre à la magnifique inspi proposée par Kinna pour ce mois de mars.

J’en ai retenu les coussins à différents motifs verts ainsi que le gros bouquet de feuillages en arrière plan.

J’ai tamponné différents motifs en vert sur une chute de bristol blanc, puis j’ai découpé des petits carrés pour évoquer les coussins
