Hello everyone,
Happy wednesday and welcome to Freshly Made Sketches. This week’s sketch designer is Narelle and she felt like playing with circles and splatters. Of course, if circles and splatters are not your things, you can use whatever you want instead. I stayed very close to the sketch but I wanted a rather masculine card and, hence, chose to go with stars instead of flowers. Here is the card I came up with.
Je vous souhaite la bienvenue chez Freshly Made Sketches . Narelle anime le challenge de cette semaine et elle avait envie de cercles et d’éclaboussures, mais , bien sûr, vous êtes totalement libres de les remplacer par autre chose. Pour ma part, je suis restée très proche du sketch mais, je souhaitais une carte plus masculine et j’ai donc remplacé les fleurs par des étoiles. Et voici la carte que cela m’a inspirée.

Une très jolie version masculine à souhait ! J’aime beaucoup le tampon de fond écritures, je ne sais pas s’il fait partie du tampon cercles grunge, mais il est très beau. Bisous

Trop belle ! Cette étoile rayée, ces taches dorées, un peu d’écriture pour un ensemble très harmonieux qui nous projette dans l’espace….c’est d’actualité ! Bisous Cécile.

I’m loving your simple but elegant cards at FMS! Can you comment on how you print white ink on black with the computer? What printer do you use? Thank you ahead of time.

Hi, Thanks so much for your kind comment. I really appreciate. I use a regular inkjet printer and black ink. I create the white on black sentiments using Microsoft Word. I type the text I need, then I choose the font, and effects I want (Bold, italic,…). When I’m happy with the result, I set background color to black and the character color to white and that’s it.
