Hello there,

I’m one day late to introduce you to this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge We have a fun sketch from Kim for you to work with. There are so many ways to interpret those vertical and horizontal  panels. I thought that the bold « Happy Birthday » die from Farbton-Papier cut in two was just perfect for the 2 horizontal strips and I just added a watercolor floral stem for the vertical one. 

Je suis très en retard pour vous présenter le challenge Freshly Made Sketches de la semaine avec un  sketch très original proposé par Kim. Il y a mille et une façons de s’approprier ce jeu de bandes horizontales et verticales. En ce qui me concerne, j’ai opté pour une découpe  « Happy Birthday » (une matrice de coupe « Farbton Papier ») recoupée en deux pour les deux panneaux horizontaux et un tampon floral aquarellé pour la bande verticale.

  1. Cecile, you do have such a way with these wonderful Sketches. Leaving the panels in the eye of the beholder is a special talent. This is gorgeous!
    My first attempt was really a fail. Second attempt was not any more CAS but I like it – and isn’t that what really matters? lol.
