Happy wednesday and welcome to the latest  Freshly Made Sketches  challenge. We’ve got a great graphic sketch from Linda for you to create with. Thanks so much Linda, I’m so glad this sketch allowed me to use some of my numerous left-over paper strips. All I had to do to create this card was to rummage through my « left-over special box » in wich I keep each and every small remains of patterned paper.

Un grand merci Linda, car cela m’a permis d’utiliser quelques unes de mes très nombreuses petites bandes de papiers imprimés. Et tout ce que j’ai eu à faire pour créer cette carte a été de farfouiller dans ma « boîte à restes » ou je conserve chacune des petites chutes de papier imprimé.

Happy wednesday and welcome to the latest  Freshly Made Sketches  challenge. This week’s hostess is Jacquie and she has designed a very simple sketch for you to create with. It is super versatile and can suit any kind of card. I chose to go with a masculine modern and graphic birthday card featuring a simple watercolor background. I stretched the sketch a little bit and used a square card base instead of the landscape format.

J’ai opté pour une carte d’anniversaire masculine et graphique avec un fond tout simple réalisé à l’aquarelle. J’ai un peu « triché » avec le sketch puisque j’ai préféré un format carré au format paysage.

Happy wednesday and welcome to this week’s  Freshly Made Sketches  challenge. We’ve got a great clean sketch from Judy for you to create with. I felt a bit lazy and I created my card playing with very few elements : two paper strips (actually, they are leftovers from other cards), a leaf die-cut, that was sitting on my scrap desk, and a stamp. To finish it up, I only added a thread bow and a tiny sequin. I can’t think of a simpler recipe.

Pour ma part, j’ai fait dans la paresse et n’ai utilisé que très peu de choses. 2 bandes de papiers (qui sont en fait des restes), une découpe de feuille qui trainait sur ma table de scrap, un sentiment et, pour finir, j’ai juste ajouté un nœud en fil et un mini sequin.  Difficile d’imaginer plus simple.

Happy wednesday and welcome to this week’s  Freshly Made Sketches  challenge. We’ve got a great layered sketch from Amy for you to create with. It inspired me this super simple baby card showcasing a sweet DSP and a strip of vellum on wich I heat embossed the sentiment. I only added a wool bow and I was done.

Il m’a inspiré une carte de naissance super simple à réaliser. Un papier imprimé, une bande de calque  sur laquelle j’ai embossé le sentiment et, pour finir, un brin de laine noué. Difficile de faire plus simple.

Happy wednesday and welcome to this week’s  Freshly Made Sketches  challenge. We’ve got a super clean sketch from Narelle for you to create with. I totally love this kind of sketches. They allow for so many ways to interpret it. I chose to go with a minimalist birthday card featuring very few element, letting the colors scheme (peach and dark navy) making all the job.

Je vous souhaite la bienvenue chez  Freshly Made Sketches . Pour le challenge de cette semaine, Narelle vous a dessiné un chouette sketch minimaliste, j’adore ce type de sketch. Cela ouvre la porte à tant de possibilités d’interprétation. J’ai opté pour une carte d’anniversaire très épurée avec très peu d’éléments. J’ai tout misé sur le jeu des couleurs (pêche et marine) pour lui donner du caractère.

Happy wednesday and welcome to this week’s  Freshly Made Sketches  challenge. We’ve got a fresh pretty sketch from Karren for you to create with. I love this cluster of shapes and I wanted to find out something that would change from circles and I’ve thought stars would be a suitable option. It has been the starting point of this simple and rather masculine card.

J’ai eu envie de trouver une alternative aux cercles et il m’a semblé que des étoiles feraient très bien l’affaire. Cela a été le point de départ de cette carte toute simple et plutôt masculine.

When I saw the stripes I first thought it would be a perfect sketch to showcase some washi tapes and then,  I don’t know what happened but I ended up by rummaging through my ribbon stash instead!
