It’s wednesday again, that means that it’s time for a new challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches. This week’s hostess is Amy and she has designed a lovely sketch for you to work with. I chose to go with a soft wedding card. For once, I stayed quite true to the sketch except that I slightly shifted the focal image to the bottom right

It’s time for another challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches. Narelle is this week’s hostess and she has designed a fabulous sketch for you to play with. I just love those two tilted and layered squares. They allows for so many options. I chose to go with very simple card featuring soft colors and this delicate butterfly die cut I love so much.

Inutile de préciser que j’adore ces deux carrés inclinés, ils ouvrent tant de possibilités d’interprétation. J’ai opté pour une carte simplissime avec des couleurs douces et cette délicate découpe de papillon que j’aime beaucoup.

Hello everyone,

It’s time for another challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches and this week the sketch has been designed by Karren. It is definitely a clean, graphic and versatile one. It can suit any project. I chose to go with a Mothers Day card. I used a tag for the sketch diamond and a twine for the middle stripe.

It’s time for another challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches and  I have the privilege of providing the sketch this week. I designed a rather whimsical sketch that I hope won’t scare you. Feel free to use any technique for these scribbled rectangles. Torn papers, washi tape, stamps, pattern lines, whatever you can think of will be ok. The DT Ladies have been incredibly creative using it and I’m sure you’ll amaze me as well. I chose to play with some watercolor and here is the card that came out.

Je me suis laissé aller en dessinant un sketch plutôt fantaisiste et j’espère que ces rectangles gribouillés ne vous effraieront pas. En fait, vous pouvez laisser parler votre imagination, papiers déchirés, bande de masking tape, ligne de motifs,  tout est bon. D’ailleurs, les filles de la DT ont rivalisé de créativité dans leurs interprétations. Pour ma part, j’ai opté pour de l’aquarelle et voici ce que cela donne :

Take a look at the great sketch Linda has designed for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches  challenge. It’s an easy and wide open sketch with those three panels that allow for so many interpretations. Here is mine, a background stamp stamped twice in reverse directions, a « Birds on a branch » die cut and I’m done.

It’s time for the new challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches . We’ve got a super great artsy sketch from Jen M for you to work with this week. No need to say, I’ve never been able to resist a splashy background 😉 ! Here is what I came up with. I drew some rough bold lines using an alcoholic marker and then added some india ink splotches. What’s great with this kind of background is you don’t need to add much to achieve a card! It’s just perfect for lazy card makers as I :D.

Il est temps de vous présenter le nouveau  challenge  Freshly Made Sketches. Cette semaine, Jen M vous propose un super sketch clean et créatif . Je pense qu’il n’est pas utile de préciser que j’adore les fonds faits de tâche 😉 en version clean. Voici mon interprétation avec des grands traits de feutre à alcool et des projections d’encre de chine. Ce qui génial avec ce type de fond, c’est que vous n’avez pas besoin d’ajouter grand chose pour faire votre carte. C’est tout simplement parfait pour une scrappeuse paresseuse comme moi 😀

Another quarantine week has gone by  and it’s time for a new challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches . This week’s sketch has been designed by Jen T, check out how super great it is. As soon as I saw the circle I knew it was a perfect occasion to showcase this baroque frame diecut and I chose to go with a wedding card.

Une nouvelle semaine de confinement s’est écoulée et il est de nouveau temps d’un  challenge  Freshly Made Sketches. Le sketch de cette semaine vous est proposé par Jen T, et il est très sympa. Dés que j’ai vu le cercle évidé, j’ai tout de suite pensé à cette matrice de coupe « cadre baroque » et cela m’a inspiré une carte de félicitations pour un mariage.

Time seems to slow down, each day looks like the previous one … except on Wednesday, since Wednesday is Freshly Made Sketches day. Our newest challenge is up and we have a super sketch from Lee Ann specially for you to play with. It gave me a chance to showcase one of my over numerous patterned papers.

Le temps semble s’étirer, chaque jour ressemble au précédent … sauf le mercredi , car c’est le jour de  Freshly Made Sketches . Hello everyone,

I sincerely hope you ‘re all safe and doing well in spite these sad and crazy times. Fortunately enough some good habits don’t change and one of them is our weekly challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches For this latest edition, Jacquie has designed a fun sketch that I hope will help you free your mind for a while. I wanted my card to be simple but colorful and I spent quite some time trying to find out what I could use for the diamond shape. In the end, I chose to stamp a square 4 times in 4 different colors and  stamped a flower in black over them and that’s it.

J’espère de tout cœur que vous allez tous bien et que vous arrivez à supporter sans trop de difficultés cette période si difficile. Heureusement certaines bonnes habitudes perdurent, et, parmi elles, les challenges hebdomadaires de  Freshly Made Sketches . Pour celui de cette semaine, Jacquie vous propose un joli sketch très clean qui, je j’espère, vous donnera l’occasion de vous évader quelques instants. Pour ma part, je voulais une carte simple et colorée et j’ai passé un certain temps à essayer de trouver une solution un peu originale pour représenter le losange. J’ai donc pris l’option de tamponner un  carré 4 fois en utilisant 4 couleurs différentes, j’ai ensuite tout simplement tamponné une fleur par dessus et c’est tout.
